Welcome to our new Club President
In May we elected our new Club President, Hazel Hallsworth.
Hazel has been a member of Jacks Centre since 2013 and is our Safeguarding Officer. Previously Hazel has held positions as Amenities Director and Ladies Vice Captain.
Hazel's chosen charity is Dengie Community First Responders.
Jacks hosts Disability Bowls England vs EIBA
On the 26th February we were pleased to play host to a bowls match between teams representing Disability Bowls England (DBE) and the English Indoor Bowls Association (EIBA). The DBE squad included three members of Jacks.
It was a very tightly contested, but friendly and enjoyable match in which Disability Bowls England came through as the winners.
A great time was had by all and the Jacks Centre Latchingdon would be extremely happy to host this event again in the future.
