Jacks Kitchen
Our welcoming Club Kitchen & Café is at the heart of Jacks - the perfect place to relax, refuel and catch up with friends in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Open from 9.00am to 2.30pm, the kitchen serves members and visitors Monday to Thursday during the Summer months, and Monday to Saturday throughout Winter.
We offer a variety of delicious homemade meals, including favourites such as chicken chasseur, traditional pies, and classic scampi and chips, alongside freshly baked cakes, cookies and great coffee.
The kitchen also plays an important role in our bowls community, preparing two-course hot meals for our friendly games and providing refreshments for competitions and special events where required.
Whether you’re joining us after a game, meeting friends for lunch, or simply stopping by for coffee and cake, you’ll always receive a warm welcome at Jacks.
A Seasonal Menu
We offer a large menu of homemade meals all year round, alongside a wide selection of hot and cold sandwiches, toasted paninis, snacks and light bites, all freshly prepared in our kitchen.
During the warmer Summer months, we also introduce an additional seasonal menu featuring lighter dishes such as pasta salads, traditional ploughman’s lunches, quiche and salad, perfect for enjoying after a game or while relaxing with friends at the club.
Whether you are looking for a full hot meal, a quick lunch, or simply somewhere to enjoy good food and company, our kitchen and café provide plenty of choice in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
Homemade Cakes, Biscuits & Pastries
Our kitchen team prepares a delicious range of homemade cakes and sweet treats, freshly made here at the club. Member favourites include traditional bread pudding, iced lemon cake and the classic Victoria sandwich perfect with a tea or coffee after a game.
Alongside our cakes, we also offer homemade biscuits, fruit turnovers and savoury cheese and tomato puffs, giving plenty of choice whether you fancy something sweet or savoury.
